the Hotel was fine. the booking.com rates saved me some money. however, i planned to leave a day early and notified booking.com about it 2 days before. booking said it would contact the hotel. then silence. 2 days later i asked the hotel if they received the message from booking, they said yes and changed my departure date. i never heard back from booking.com. should i have received a refund? that's the thing using a booking service - you always feel stuck in the middle between the service and the hotel. i will probably book direct with the hotel next time.

This is the best Hotel in Okeechobee in my opinion. The rooms are updated and so classy and the shower was amazing! The bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds! The breakfast has many options and was very good. Staff was all friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was great. The hotel was very clean. When we first got there the front desk lady was rude and was on a personal call and I waiting until she was done. She seemed to assume something about the person I was with and did not like us. We were polite to her did not say anything but found her very cold and judgmental. Other than that all the other staff was great.
